1. Who we are and these terms
Stadium Room is an iPhone app and website run by Embermyth (“we”, “us”). These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the app, the Discover catalog or this website. By using Stadium Room you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to use online services in your country if that is higher. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission where the law requires it.
3. Accounts
An account is optional. You only need one to publish shows, save shows or set up a profile. You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your sign-in method secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. One account is for one person; don't share it or create accounts for someone else without their permission.
4. Your content
“Your content” means the shows you publish and your display name, profile photo and bio. You keep ownership of it. By publishing it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display and distribute it in the app and Discover, so other people can find, get and play your shows. This license is only for running and promoting Stadium Room.
- You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to publish it.
- You can remove a show at any time. People who already got a copy keep it in their library, and the license continues for those copies.
5. Music
Stadium Room syncs to music played through Apple Music. We don't host, sell or distribute music. A show contains timing and lighting data, plus the song's title, artist and catalog identifiers, but no audio. Playing songs needs your own Apple Music access, and your use of Apple Music is subject to Apple's terms.
6. Community rules
Don't publish or do any of the following:
- Spam, scams or misleading content.
- Harassment or bullying.
- Hate speech or hateful symbols.
- Nudity or sexual content.
- Violence or threats.
- Content that promotes self-harm or suicide.
- Pretending to be another person, brand or organization.
- Copying someone else's show and passing it off as your own.
- Anything illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Trying to break, overload or misuse the service, or get around our moderation.
Profile photos, names and bios must be appropriate for a general audience.
7. Reports and moderation
Anyone can report a person, profile photo, bio or show in the app (open it, tap ••• → Report). We review reports and may remove content, remove a profile photo, clear a bio, take down a show, or suspend or ban an account. We may act without notice when we think it's needed to keep people safe or the service working. We don't tell people who reported them. If you think we got it wrong, contact support and we'll take another look.
8. Your lights and safety
Photosensitivity warning. Light shows can include flashing, strobing and rapidly changing colors. These can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy, and may cause discomfort for others. If you or anyone in the room has a history of seizures or epilepsy, talk to a doctor before use. Stop immediately if anyone feels dizzy, has altered vision, eye or muscle twitching, disorientation or any involuntary movement.
Stadium Room controls third-party lights over your local network and Bluetooth. You are responsible for your lights and equipment, for following their manufacturers' instructions, and for using them safely and considerately, including when you play shows other people made. Stadium Room is not affiliated with or endorsed by Philips Hue (Signify), Govee or the WLED project.
9. Support
You can get help in the app under Settings → Help & feedback, through our contact form, or by emailing support@stadiumroom.app.
10. Termination
You can stop using Stadium Room at any time. To delete your account, contact support and we'll delete it along with your profile and published shows. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or we need to for legal or safety reasons.
11. Disclaimers
Stadium Room is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard on it, but we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that shows will stay perfectly in sync with every song or light, that Discover will always be available, or that shows made by others will meet your expectations. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Embermyth is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or equipment, arising from your use of Stadium Room. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Stadium Room after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
