Set up Govee
- In the Govee Home app, open each light's settings and turn on LAN Control.
- Make sure the light is on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi on the same network as your iPhone.
- In Stadium Room, open Lights › Add › Govee and scan. Allow local network access if iOS asks.
- Tap Flash to tell lights apart, then add them to your groups.
- Calibrate sync once so Govee lands on the beat with your other lights.
Good to know
- Only Wi-Fi Govee models with LAN Control can be added. Bluetooth-only Govee lights aren't supported.
- Segment streaming gives each segment its own colour at a higher frame rate. It's marked experimental: if a light stops responding, turn it off for that light.
- If a light isn't found, you can type its IP address from your router's device list.
Govee questions
Does Stadium Room work with Govee lights?
+
Yes, with Wi-Fi Govee lights that support LAN Control. Turn on LAN Control for each light in the Govee Home app, then add it in Stadium Room. Bluetooth-only Govee models are not supported.
Why isn't my Govee light showing up?
+
Check that LAN Control is on for that light, that it's on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi on the same network as your iPhone, and that Stadium Room is allowed to use the local network in iOS Settings. You can also add the light by IP address.
Is this better than Govee's built-in music mode?
+
It's different. Govee's music mode reacts to sound picked up by a microphone. Stadium Room plays a show you designed for a specific song, timed to the song itself, and can run it across Govee, Hue and WLED lights together.
Mix it with other lights
One show can play on several brands at once. Philips Hue, WLED, Aura lights.
